So, I purchased these extension cables and they work beautifully. I would recommend this product to others needing just a little more length in those cables. The configuration of my office made it impossible for my cpu and monitor to be close enough together to use the existing cables. They were the exact same product as sold in stores for 3 times the cost and there is no loss of function.
I sit about 5 or 6 feet away from my monitor, so these are perfect. Work as they are supposed to. I go through to many batteries in wireless keyboards and mouse's, so this has saved me tons.
The only beef I have with this cable is the one I have will all PS/2 extension cables - the ends become separated too easily. Other than that it's a great product, certainly as good as or better than its competitors.
This works just as well for a PS/2 mouse (not serial of course).
